NDIS services

What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS is an insurance scheme which was set up in Australia with the intent of bringing support and assistance to Australians living with disabilities.

The NDIS was started in 2013 and rolled out across Australia, it is now fully operational and available to all Australian’s living with a disability.

To access the NDIS you need to be assessed and have an individual plan created for you, this will take into account the support you require which is directly related to your disability to provide the care you need- Eg. Funding for a wheelchair, specialised cutlery to help you eat, carers to help with your daily living.
